Is it free to post a listing?

Yes, posting a listing is free. In the future, additional options such as featured or promoted placements may be available to help listings reach more buyers.

What is the promotional flyer feature?

Every listing you post comes with a ready-made promotional flyer. You can share it on WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, or anywhere else to reach buyers beyond the Zikwala marketplace — at no extra cost.

How long does my listing stay active?

Listings are active for up to 30 days. You can renew or repost at any time from your seller dashboard.

Can I edit or delete my listing?

Yes. Go to My Listings, then click Edit to update details or Delete to remove the listing at any time.

How do I increase my chances of selling?

Use clear, well-lit photos, write an accurate description, and set a fair price. Share your listing flyer on WhatsApp and social media to reach buyers beyond the marketplace.

How do buyers contact me?

Buyers can reach you through Zikwala's built-in messaging, or via phone, SMS, or WhatsApp if you choose to share those details. You control which contact methods are visible on your listing.

How do I track inquiries from buyers?

All messages and inquiries appear in your seller dashboard. You can reply directly from there or through your preferred contact method.

What should I do if I receive suspicious messages?

Use the Report button on the user's profile to flag the issue, then block them from contacting you. Never share sensitive personal or financial information.

How do I stay safe when meeting buyers?

Always meet in a safe, public location. Avoid sharing home addresses, and confirm payment before handing over an item.

What if a buyer cancels or disputes a deal?

Zikwala does not manage transactions directly. Buyers and sellers are responsible for agreeing on terms and resolving any disputes between themselves.

Does Zikwala charge commission on sales?

Zikwala currently does not charge commission on sales. Posting a listing is free.

Will there be paid features in the future?
